My first day ever looking for my Wedding Dress, I found it!!! I couldnt be happier with the service I received from the staff at SPOSA ITALIA. Lea was absolutely amazing, she understood my particular ways right away. Shopping is usually a nightmare for me due to my OCD of perfection. Lea worked with my vision instead of becoming frustrated from it. Due to her amazing expertise together we designed my custom wedding dress- better than I would have ever imagined! THANK YOU.

I contacted Felichia's for an appointment as my daughter and I were going to be in Toronto. I was told to make the appointment on-line, which I did. After not hearing back for several weeks, I phoned again. I was assured that someone would email my daughter as soon as possible. The following day my daughter received an email saying that the person/people who make the appointments were out of town and would contact her upon their return. Once again, there was no further contact, so I emailed them the other day. The next day my daughter received an email stating that they had no appointments available for the requested day. I find this kind of poor communication ridiculous and would never recommend this company to anyone traveling to Toronto to look for a wedding gown.

This bridal salon is TERRIBLE! The women who own this store are like the 2 nasty stepsisters. They are rude, unkind, and horrible to work with. I wont even get into my terrible experience, there is enough evidennce on here of how terrible this place is, just DO NOT go here if you are looking for a pleasent bridal experience

What a lovely experience !!!!!! I had been to several Bridal shops and ended up purchasing my dream dress from Impression Bridal at 720 Burhamthorpe Road. It was a dream come true. I am a very picky person and was surrpised that I mentioned it to the Consultant who looked after my requirements. After trying several gowns, which I had picked, and not feeling very happy with them, I was about to exit, when the Consultant (Agnes) suggested that I try one last bridal gown which she picked for me. I was surprised to find that not only I fell in love with the dress, including my Mum. I ended up buying the gown which my Consultant picked and must admit - she watched me try several dresses with patience and finally got a bridal gown of her choice. I would like to thank her and recommend her to all my friends/family as she made my dream come true.........

I called Bliss before making an appointment to make sure they had plus size dresses for me to try on, giving them my street size at that time. They assured me that they had plenty, and so I made the appointment. I went in, and my mom and I were told to look around to get ideas of dresses we liked, and so that they could match them up with the 'women's' size dresses. So we did...4 dresses we found. They plunked me in the change room to put the dresses on (which were size 12). First of all, I'm a size 22 so I thought that was kind of strange, but I gave it a show anyhow. Second of all, I've never seen a wedding dress in my life, and to try to put one on by yourself was nuts...Especially given that it was WAY too small. So after several attempts, I was already starting to feel discouraged, at which point she suggested a dress she thought might fit me. FANTASTIC idea. Brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? So she brought me a few more horrifically ugly dresses, none of which fit. I was in tears. She suggested I look online for a dress, and take my measurements and just order one, without trying it on.

I have never felt so awful about myself or humiliated in my LIFE. It wasn't busy, we were the first morning appointment on a Wednesday. There was absolutely NO reason they couldn't have been more helpful. I cancelled other appointments I'd made that day, and went home and cried and cried.

I found a beautiful wedding gown that I wore for my September 14th wedding, and I'm so glad Bliss Bridal didn't get my business.

I would not reccomend this bridal shop to anyone based on my experience. I gave them a half star, because I had to give them something, but really they are not even deserving of that.

Thanks to San Jude's Bridal my experience in purchasing and altering my wedding gown was a pure delight. I agree with many reviews here that the fact that they have hand-written testimonials in their store from hundreds of clients made me feel very confident. Not only did their designer alter and customize my dress to my desire but she also altered another dress to fit me perfectly. She was completely accommodating and beyond helpful. I will recommend San Jude's Bridal to anyone getting getting married or simply requiring alterations

Sarah Houston's Bridal experience is everything I've ever imagined my wedding dress shopping dreams would consist of. Sarah and her staff are so friendly and accommodating right from the moment you walk into this breathtaking bridal salon. I felt so comfortable with the Courtney (my wedding dress consultant) and we had a lovely time searching throughout the store for exactly what I wanted. I made an appointment for just myself, as I'm easily influenced by the opinions of others, so I wanted to experience the wedding dress hunt in private—which is a bit unorthodox, but they made me feel right at home.

Observing how wonderfully decorated the boutique is, I knew I was going to find the perfect gown for me. The first floor is pretty, with a vintage-chic theme and beautiful white & ivory gowns lining store. Each gown that I tried on was uniquely designed by Sarah, and would fit a range of looks from romantic & sensual, to dramatic & vivacious. I loved the second floor's runway and Antique-Parisian styled dressing room, its my favourite room of the boutique itself. The gowns are so gorgeous, with intricate detail to each one—from silk & lace, to crystals; the possibilities are endless, & its hard to pick just one! I finally narrowed down my gown and matched it with a dazzling crystal belt and matching veil. I could not have wished for a more positive experience!

My friend purchased a dress at Beckers. It was an off the rack sample (the style had been discontinued) but it was in excellent shape and looked gorgeous on her. The owner said they would send the dress out to be cleaned and have it back shortly. She called when it came in and said "it looked perfect". When we went to try on the dress it was a mess! Parts of the silk were ripped, the beautiful tulle that made the dress so special was ripped, torn and looked like it had been melted in parts. And the only thing the owner said was, "Well, we can refund your money" You've got to be kidding! This is a woman's WEDDING DRESS? You've got to be able to do better than that?!?! They didn't offer any solutions, nothing. Just sorry, we'll refund your money. We've heard from others that this type of things happen at Beckers and I do not recomend going to a place that leaves you hanging when it comes to customer service. I would never, ever recommend Beckers.

I have purchased my gorgeous Pronovias gown from Mona Richie and could not have been happier!
Mona Richie has a huge selection of dresses, for any budget, and the customer service is outstanding.It was the only wedding dress boutique I went to, and I only tried on 4 or 5 dresses there, but I did not have to go anywhere else after that. The first dress I tried on was the ONE. It was a real pleasure working with Mona herself, and all her ladies are just great, they treat you as a family and they mean it. My wedding dress purchase was probably the most enjoyable and definitely the least stressfull part of the whole wedding planning process.

Ladies, I warn, you. DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS FROM THIS STORE. I bought my dress here for my wedding this year and was thoroughly disappointed by the customer service I received. Yes, Amanda Lina’s has a wide variety of dresses, but let me tell you about the poor quality service I received:
- Too long. When I purchased my dress, the designer was offering a hollow to hem promotion (basically you are measured by the sales ladies from the store from top to bottom and the dress is made to your size as opposed to you buying a dress which is standard length and then they cut the bottom to make it shorter. My dress was lace so this was important). The sales lady at Amanda Lina’s measured me, assuring me “everything will be perfect. I do this every day”. However, when my dress came in, it was too long and I had to pick up my dress as I walked. I also had the exact shoes I wore on my wedding day when my measurements were taken. What did Amanda Lina’s do? They told me I could put some crinoline/tulle under the dress to puff it out so it wouldn’t be so long. If I wanted a princess dress and not a trumpet style dress I would have bought one. They also told me I would have to pay the extra amount to have my dress shortened even though it was their measuring error
- Too small. When my dress came in, it was a size too small. When I tried on the dress at time of purchase, it was a brand new dress and it was a perfect fit. I was the first to try it on because it was a new style for that year and it was during a trunk show, so I knew the sample I tried wasn’t stretched out from numerous try ons. I know I didn’t gain any weight either. The dress was so tight that it bunched up in all the wrong places and made me feel awful. The owner of the store did not offer to measure me again to compare but insisted that I had gained weight. They said “don’t worry, we will let it out. It will be perfect,” which is WRONG. Some dresses have restrictions on how much can be let out, so don’t let the salon fool you in telling you “anything can be done.” The only people who know this are the seamstresses.
- Dirty black marks. My dress also had black marks on some of the seams of the dress. I inquired as to why my dress wasn’t inspected at time of arrival and was not provided with a good explanation at all.
I had a lengthy conversation with the owner Sam about all my concerns and was basically told there was nothing they could do about it. He was rude and not empathetic. Moreover, while the sales people can be nice, many of them unfortunately do not speak much English so when I phoned the store to follow up on the status of my dress after it was to be cleaned from the dirty marks, no one had any idea what I was saying or what was going on. This is your WEDDING DRESS ladies, so it has to be perfect. You cannot trust Amanda Lina’s to handle your dress with the highest quality of care it deserves.
I did not want my dress under the hands of Amanda Lina’s one more second so I took my alterations to Saratina Bridal in Oakville where I bought my bridesmaid dresses. They were extremely professional, courteous, and proactive with the care of my dress. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They made my dress fit me to perfection. Amanda Lina’s really stressed me out and me feel like crap in my dress which no bride should ever feel!

I was doing a search for someone and was so surprised with the poor star rating. Both my sister and I bought our dresses at Windsor Bridal. The staff was great, listen to what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress.

I found THE dress here by complete coincidence on a Sunday afternoon. Since I teach overseas with my fiance, I had very limited time in Toronto to look for my wedding gown, MY MOH and I were killing time between appointments and stumbled upon this shop on the second floor. Actually, I didn't even see the sign, it was such a hidden gem (my best friend saw it!)

We went inside and I instantly felt comfortable and at ease-Nicole is lovely to work with and is hilarious. She listens to what you want and has a great eye for what will suit you. The first dress I tried on there, I knew it was THE dress. After horrible experiences at 5 different shops around Toronto, I was starting to lose hope and I am so grateful that we found this place! I brought my mom the next morning and purchased it!

I must say after having a horrific bridal experience at L&J bridal, i went across the street to Gala. Everyone was so welcoming and Lucy took the time to have me try on dresses. I found my dress and Lucy truly added to the experience. I would definitely recommend this place!

Below are the most accurate comments. This store has amazing dresses but the women makes you not even want to try them on Even if you had a $10 000 budget. Her attitude was demeaning and she did not even assist. There was no one else in the store, and it was difficult even getting help. I wanted to try on a few styles but she said they didn’t have what I wanted, so I took my budget elsewhere. Lucy across the street at Gala bridal was sooo helpful. I recommend that place instead, they took time to help and even though I didn’t get a designer gown I got the service and was treated like a princess like any bride should. Don’t even bother going to L & J.

I bought a pair of wedding shoes from them recenty. When they arrived they were too big and color wasn't right so I sent email asking if I could exchange and they replyed me right away said they have the color and the size I asked for and they gave me returning shipping rabel. They pay for shipping ony if you are exchanging. I shipped the shoes the same day and they shipped the other ones 2 days later. I was running out of time for my wedding date and I sent them lots of emails asking the situation(when they are arriving, etc), they replyed to me each time gave me answers. I was amazed by their great service and efficiency. I recommend to anybody to buy your wedding shoes.
